I’m 35- essentially middle aged if statistics are to be believed. But it’s funny, I still feel 17 only I have my own money and I weigh a lot more.
I was born in Korea, adopted at less than a week old and have been in the US since I was 3 months old. Growing up Asian in a Caucasian country has made me strong and for that I’m grateful. But it wasn’t until I was in my late 20’s that I really became comfortable in my own skin, which has become essential for me now that I’m a mother. My son is half Korean, half Caucasian and like me, is 100% American.
All experiences, good, bad or indifferent have lead me to this very place; a charmed, blessed life. I want for little and need nothing. It’s wonderful to be a Korean American.
