Own Words

I work as a “Professional Christian” at a large university in Southern CA. I spend my days trying to love students and live life in the present. A typical day at the office might include an impromptu dance party, eating pizza in a dorm room, and lots and lots of late night conversations about life and the spiritual journey.

My idea of one hellova night calls for good friends, good beer, and karaoke. I listen to public radio and I love public spaces. I’m a sucker for a well-told story. I value the art of reading between the lines, but appreciate people who give it to you straight.

I’m an expert at wasting precious and valuble time on facebook. I’ve also probably set some sort of world record for hours spent pouring over blogs written by friends, acquaintances…strangers. Some call it internet stalking; I call it leisure reading.

Best way to describe myself? An introvert with extroverted tendencies. I’m a little like Korean dessert – not too sweet…just. sweet. enough.
