I think I always subconciously knew that I wanted to work in the music business. As a kid, I remember recording Casey Kasem’s countdown every Sunday morning – I always missed that last hour because of church! I lived for the AMAs, Grammys, VMAs. I hoped that someday I would be there!
The best decision I ever made was to not go to law school Instead, I hustled hard, networked like crazy and eventully climbed my way up to a job that I love, working with artists that I truly respect.
I would encourage young Korean Americans to pursue a career that they find truly inspiring and fulfilling – find your passion and go for it!
