Own Words

I’m a Korean adoptee and from three months old have been residing in Oklahoma. I majored in Physical Education and I just recently moved to Korea to teach English and to learn about the culture from which I came. It’s been an invigorating experience, an eye opening experience, and a difficult experience. But it is something that I would not give up for anything.

I’m learning some of the reasons I am the way I am. I’m learning things that make me proud to be American. I’m learning about a new culture that makes me proud to be Korean.
