Bag designer, retired stand-up comedian
I’m just your typical Korean-American, you know, born and raised in Goodlettsville, Tennessee. When I became “of age” I decided to seek adventures in bigger cities, so I ventured off to NYC for college, then headed to LA for grad school, and finally moved to Seattle in 2003, where I have lived ever since.
I’ve had an interesting career path– working in advertising/marketing by day, and occasionally moonlighting as a stand-up comic by night. But in Sept 2008 I decided to drop everything to pursue entrepreneurship– just before the economy tanked. Awesome, I know.
But just in time for the economic recovery, last month I launched my line of eco-friendly laptop bags, iPad sleeves and purse organizers– all made in the USA. I am so happy I took this risk– I love running a business! And I love that I can play a part in keeping jobs in the US.
