I love it when I see non-Asian people in Korean restaurants deliciously enjoying a bowl of kimchi chigae or wrapping ssam.

I love it when I see Koreans with big dogs like Labs and golden retrievers (and best of all, pit bulls!). (http://www.ny-petrescue.org/dogs.php !!)

I love reading about successful Korean Americans in the news, or better yet, featured as prominent characters on shows called LOST.

I love receiving texts in English from my mother. “I think I love you…”

I don’t like some Koreans’ preoccupation with superficiality. It’s okay to have monolids.

Regarding the above, I don’t like how I get affected by this superficiality even though I don’t have monolids. Sometimes, I want my ssangkapool to be bigger.

I don’t like how many Koreans give 15% tip. This is not okay.
