My family moved from South Korea to Chile when I was eight, because my parents were Presbyterian missionaries. After graduating High School in Temuco, I majored in Anthropology at Macalester. I interned at the Centro de Derechos Laborales, assisting workers filing unpaid wage claims and served at the latin@ student organization ¡Adelante!. I currently work at the Korean Resource Center, a nonprofit immigrant rights organization in Los Angeles. I am interested in using my anthro skills towards increasing the efficiency of work mechanisms and seeking better ways for nonprofits to expand influence on the internet.
