Hi! I’m your typical 20 year old Korean-American. I was adopted when I was 4 months old from Pusan, S Korea, and have lived in Minnesota from then to the time being.
Growing up a K-A has been a fun and interesting journey. I must admit, I never really had any conflicts in my life dealing with my background. I’ve been able to embrace and utilize being Korean in many aspects in my life and others.
It’s fun to be able to enrich my friends lives by being their “asian friend”; and filling them with knowledge I have learned from a Korean culture camp up in northern Minnesota, Kamp Kimchee (cool name huh?!). They love it!
As of now I’m in my third year at a private college, leaning towards a degree in Econ/Management with a focus in Human Resources. Hopefully, if everything pans out alright I will be working up the twin cities! At college, I’m involved in the Asian Cultures Club, Lambda Alpha Nu Business Frat, SHRM, and the dance team! (btw: I love to dance!)
In conclusion, I have a pierced tongue and lip, however they are only temporary until I need to get a little more serious! My favorite animal is a turtle. I love showing/riding horses. Spontaneous moments are my thing! My favorite color is green. Well, that’s me in a nutshell!
