It seems my family has always been on the move. In the late 1920’s, when my grandfather was a young man, he moved to Japan for education, but eventually returned to Korea to settle down. My dad, in the 1970’s, moved our family to California. I, in turn, in 1993 moved to the Eastcoast for law school and am now settled here in Long Island, NY with my wife, son and daughter, and my law practice. Maybe my children or their children will continue eastward. Maybe one of my descendents will return to Korea, and not just to visit.
