New York City and New Jersey
Illustrator & PR/Social Media Networking
I was born on September 26,1988 in New Jersey as the only Left-Hander in my family’s line. Introduced to the world of art and design at the age of 5, I taught myself how to draw and paint. At 9, I placed first place in my first drawing competition where I also realized that I wanted to pursue a career in the creative field.
Since then, I attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City while also studying Marketing, Social Media Relations and Business Administration on my own free time. I have been awarded in many competitions including the National Scholastic Art & Writing, National Art Honor Society, and featured in numerous Korean Newspapers in the Tri-state area.
I am involved in non-profit Asian American movements such as Kollaboration – an annual talent show created by a small group of professional young Asians in North America; and the newly created ISA [International Secret Agents] – a concert show to showcase Asian American talent breaking into the mainstream and gave back to the community volunteering for UNICEF, World Vision, LINK, and GOAHEAD Missions in South Korea.
Inspired by a variety of music, dance, and art, I love to work and network with many Asian American talents across the United States in order to help bring the East and West Coast Asian Americans together to get their voices and dreams heard.
I am currently a PR/Network Marketer for MUZO Entertainment representing East Coast Underground Korean American rappers Johnnyphlo and Decipher.
In addition, I am an Illustrator and Designer for a well-known baseball team which I won’t name :]
When I’m not working I like to model, act, blog and watch/play sports.
However, my main life goal is to one day start a Non-Profit Organization that is involved with Asian American Talents in the US in order to raise/donate funds and help out poor families and children in Third World Asian countries, hopefully branch out internationally and have Celebrity US vs International challenges, Events, and Shows to raise awareness and to “have fun while supporting a good cause.”
Words & Ideas can Change the World.
As a Proud Korean American Woman, I hope to achieve this one day.
