Originally from Hawaii, I have lived in LA, NY, New Delhi, and Boston, and have traveled extensively. I was just in Norway in a cabin w/o electricity + running water! With a background in the curatorial field in contemporary museums, my focus is now on affecting education in the U.S. through programs that present learning as personally meaningful. I believe in the importance of teaching for new media literacy, aiding in the development of students’ civic identity, and globally themed education.
