Description

KASCON is the oldest and largest undergraduate ethnic-specific college conference in America. Annually it attracts hundreds of student who want to be informed about issues relevant to the new generation of Korean America and make new friends from across the country. In order to inspire Korean American students to become leaders of their community, we showcase prominent Korean American figures in a variety of different fields and encourage discussion and reflection on issues pertinent to our community. Currently we have incredible speakers confirmed in fields ranging from academia to entertainment to politics, and we expect to have over 30 speakers at the conference. (For a complete list of confirmed speakers, visit our website) In addition to the great speakers, we have prepared lots of entertainment including a kimchi making workshop, karaoke, a dance competition, speed dating, a Kollaboration show, and more.

This year is a particularly exciting year for KASCON as it marks the 25th anniversary of the conference’s creation. In celebration of the 25th year of KASCON, we have been met with even more enthusiasm from students and speakers alike.
