I am a Korean-American survivor of human trafficking/child sex exploitation, currently residing in the North Texas, I have been volunteering my time as a legal advocate in the state of Minnesota from 2003-2007, as well as promoting human and civil rights. I have been working incessantly to establish a non-profit organization, while, at the same time volunteering in diverse capacities at several I have attended over 20 seminars, regarding:

• Crime victims
• Domestic violence
• Immigrant victims of crime
• Professional advocacy training
• Facilitator training
• Cyber crimes/child pornography
• Human-trafficking/prostitution
• Technical assistance for grassroots funding
• Startup procedures for 501(c) (3) organizations

I have accomplished public speaking concerning Human Trafficking. I use my personal story to enlighten NGOs and political officials with the goal of strengthening the advocacy system in reaching out to victims of trafficking.  I have traveled extensively to promote awareness of trafficking, and provides education regarding the diverse victims which are affected by it.

From 2008 through Present, I decided to collaborate and network with those who are striving to end slavery, injustice and to empower freedom for the victims and survivors alike.

In 2006, I received an award from the National Campaign for Tolerance, where my name have been embraced on the Wall of Tolerance in Montgomery, Alabama which testifies of my commitment to maintain a public stand against hate, injustice and intolerance.

In 2011, I received a recognition award through the LAPD of California in my hard work and efforts to continue to fight and educate the public and collaboration with the law enforcement regarding trafficking issues.

Currently, I have completed my memoir “Broken Silence” and hopes it can be released in 2012, along with my upcoming film, “Eden” starring: Jamie Chung (Hangover 2, Sucker Punch & Grown Ups), Beau Bridges (Max Payne, The Fabulous Baker Boys & Stargate SG-1,) and Matt O’Leary (Brick, Live Free or Die Hard & Spy Kids 2 & 3).
