Own Words

I was born in Seoul, Korea as Yoon Sang Kyun. Leaving behind a happy and peaceful life at age six, I was sent to America through an adoption. After 7 years of imprisonment, I escaped my bonds to find my way in my new country at age 14. I have been an infantry soldier, a martial artist, firearms trainer, fitness expert. But in my heart, I have remained the little boy from Korea. Today, I am a successful leader in fitness and health. I have recently written a memoir about my unique experience as a Korean American. I was thrilled to find this site and all of its members, since I have never connected with other Koreans like this before. I am in the process of publishing my book, and writing a screenplay for its film production. Any suggestions or opinions are welcomed.
